Carpenter

Amor y Vida has given many children an opportunity to learn a trade in this specialized industry. They sell many crafts locally in San Pedro. We have connected them with a local hotel and tap room to learn from a Master Carpenter.

Music

One of the music students was given a chance to sing in New York City in 2022. We hope to expand the music scene at Amor y Vida. Check out her video belowC.

Medical

Through pure coincidence, we were able to get a second opinion on one of the children at the foundation. Alexandra has been blind since she was 1 years old due to poor living standards at her birth home. Our goal is to get a doctor to see her in the USA.

Transportation

One of the biggest obstacles for the foundation is reliable automobiles to haul children to school safely. On occasion, they have to make three or four trips in a day for hospital visits. One of our goals is to get them a bigger bus.

Fun

With several children, we do virtual visits several times a month. Since our in person visit in 2022, many connections were made and we want those bonds to continue
